Shootingstar Court

This design emphasizes structure, balance, and year-round beauty through a combination of stone and evergreen plantings. Specimen boulders were carefully placed to establish focal points and ground the composition, while a river stone dry stream bed functions as both a drainage feature and a visual corridor, mimicking the movement of natural water.

The planting plan is anchored by specimen pines, Hinoki cypress, and a Japanese maple, which provide form, color, and focal interest throughout the seasons. These are complemented by junipers, ornamental grasses, and select perennials, chosen for texture and low-maintenance character. Together, the plant palette ensures year-round color and structure, while reinforcing the project’s Japanese-inspired design intent. A flagstone walkway ties the landscape together, inviting movement through the space and connecting the natural stone elements with the architecture of the home.
