Wakefield Drive

This project centers on a brick patio designed as both a functional outdoor living space and a visual extension of the home. A seating wall with decorative columns frames the patio, adding structure and architectural presence while creating a comfortable area to gather. The patio was carefully positioned to overlook a pond, transforming it into a natural focal point and making the outdoor space a destination for relaxation and views.

The surrounding landscape was developed as a full planting design, blending structure with color and seasonal change. A variety of flowering and ornamental trees provide height and accent, while ornamental grasses, shrubs, roses, hydrangeas, and perennials fill the garden beds with texture and bloom throughout the year. A row of screening trees offers privacy and enclosure, ensuring the space feels intimate while still connected to the surrounding environment. The balance of durable hardscape and layered plantings makes this patio both aesthetic and functional, with year-round beauty and seasonal variety.
